Can't Decide Which Version is Better???

Mom, you make the best apple pie ever!  Your Aunt Sue uses a special cinnamon and Aunt Sally puts caramel in her apple pie.  How did Grandma make her apple pie?  You know, we never wrote it down.  I think like mine, but it's been so long.  Come to think about it, Aunt Sue's tastes more like I remember your Grandma's tasting. 

Sound Familiar. Families have handed down recipes for years.  Unfortunately, some original recipes were never written down and other family members put their own special touches on recipes that may have even made them better.
